I am a freelance PA and editor. As an Oxford graduate, I have exceedingly high standards and proofread all projects... several times before submission to the client. PA work: I offer general secretarial support, having worked as a PA in the city of London for several years. As a fast audio typist, I enjoy transcription work as it provides a variety of topics throughout the working week. My excellent organisational skills lend themselves to diary management and I am in a good position to provide administrative help to small businesses. I can format documents to suit different filing systems and am happy to make reasonable amendments when requested. Deadlines, once agreed, are set in stone and I take pride in being a reliable service provider. In addition, I can provide a basic book keeping service where required. Copy-editing: I have experience of working with native writers and with authors for whom English is a second language. Information professional and freelance writer

I am a trained librarian with experience in the business, health (NHS) and voluntary sector, and also a freelance writer... and researcher. In addition I play music and am involved in community projects with music and the arts. I started out in accountancy, gaining a degree and some experience in chartered accountancy, before re-training as a librarian. I have worked in a business library, academic libraries and in the NHS doing health information. I have also worked with the citizens’ advice bureau, starting a health information project within bureaus, as well as advising. As a freelance writer, I have had a number of publications including fiction, non-fiction and satire writing. I have had one short story long listed for the Bridport prize, and a novel I'm hopeful of getting published once it's a little more polished! My library and research background helps with being able to research non-fiction topics. I also play music and am involved with community arts groups. I would be particularly interested in projects which bring together health/social care and the arts, such as music, writing and storytelling. In addition to working I'm currently studying a science degree through the OU and have an interest in popular science.
