Almost on all such occasions I used to be assigned the responsibility of anchoring their functions too. Though I am not a prolific writer, I have contributed articles and poems to certain magazines. I have also translated some of Tagore’s essays on the philosophy of education which was published by one of the top publishers in India. Presently I am engaged in the translation of Max Muller’s illustrious discourses in the University of Oxford. The themes of the treatises I have contributed vary from Education to Ecology, from Politics to ...History and so on. As a service provider, I feel confident that I can do something substantially in the direction... of what I am required to do except on subjects relating to technology, science and electronics. However, I have written articles about the impacts, positive as well as negative, of the new generation disciplines. It is my firm belief that every language has its own identity and its own life. True, in the present global scenario, no language can remain insulated from the influences of other languages, especially of the vernacular. But the vital and basic characteristics of the language shall be kept in tact. A language succeeds in communicating most effectively when it is used in its original style. Hindi has its own grammar, its own style and its own accent. The same is the case with other languages too. I believe that I can put across an idea as intelligibly as can be by being faithful to the original features and characteristics. If the need is to take home what you want to communicate to the common mass, I can do that as well in simpler straight-to-heart tongue.
