Born 24th May 1969, I am a German Graphic Designer working from my little own 1-man company Basics & Details Ltd in Rowley Regis, near Birmingham. Having studied for some time on a multi-subject ...level (Chemistry, History of Technology and Science and Geography) I've enrolled in a Private College to become a Media Designer/Art... Worker. Due to changes in the employment-structure in Germany's Graphic Business I was forced into self-employment and started pitching my own Design Project in 2002 - right after graduating. Since then I am working as a Graphic Designer for Print- and Non-Print Media. I took courses in marketing and market research to brush up skills so that I became able to understand how to research marketing campaigns and organise my own for my customers. In the rung of the years I gained a lot of experience creating branding- and marketing campaigns for new enterprises and products, creating brands and product images. I always focussed on time-resistant designs and decently grounded marketing. I always kept myself afloat on the newest media design technology and am proud to work from a modern, state-of-the-art and fully licensed workshop. Due to my practice-based academic upbringing (our college featured an ad agency, a litho print shop and a book bindery) I can communicate with designers, artworkers, printers and bookbinders on a 1:1 basis. In addition to my professional upbringing and development all skills which I earned whilst being employed in other jobs, like Teacher in Adult Education, Call Centre Agent and Call Centre Supervisor added Managerial, Sales and Teaching Skills to my Skill List. In my little company, whilst mostly working on my own, I am employing freelancers on an irregular basis. Project Management and Organisation is part of my daily routine and I am versed in different forms of Project Management (Budget-based, Project-based, Skill-based, Manpower-based, Product-based, manufactory-based).
