Freelance Creative Designer | Art Director

Senior Graphic Designer - Creative/Art Director

As a young child I always had pencil and paper in my hands sketching the world around me. I was given my first copy of photoshop at ...the age of 14 and began developing my skills there. From the age of 15-18 I was the Media Director... for my school district which included 6 different institutions. This job required me to design all the websites, any marketing and advertising, video editing for presentations, and to maintain the districts web servers. At the age of 18 I began my own Screen Printing and Embroidery Business/Design firm. Here I learned the fundamentals of the screen printing process and how to communicate my ideas to corporate partners. Within a year I had most of the county's public accounts and sold the business at the age of 20. Following that I moved to Los Angeles, California to further pursue my career. I was doing mostly freelance work for businesses and bands around the LA county and Orange county areas until I was offered a Product Development job with Rock and Republic Denim. After a year there learning the ends and outs of producing apparel I was offered a Graphic Design position with Guess Clothing. I have been at Guess Clothing for the past 5 years further honing my skills and moving up the ladder quickly. As the youngest Senior Designer in the history of the Guess brand I have worked with vendors from across the world to create beautiful product for a specific demographic. Now I am taking the final step and moving out on my own. Currently I am consulting with several companies and am looking to build my own business.
