Hi, I am a QBE bookkeeper with 13 years of experience and a BA(Hons) degree in the field. Having previously being employed in both small business and multinational companies, I took the decision to go self employed in 2007 forming my own company - DK Bookkeepers Limited. I undertake all kinds of work from general bookkeeping (run-of-the-mill) to final accounts work, self-assessment works and Corporation Tax work. I am currently working towards AAT to get a piece of paper to say what I can do. I must say, this is both a "trophy hunting" exercise and an effort to prove to those of you who would be concerned about the lack of "paper qualifications" I have the I am both qualified and experienced. Accountancy/ Bookkeeping works: - Annual Accounts Preparation & Submission to Companies House - Corporation Tax, Personal Income Tax, Partnership Tax preparation & submission to HMRC - VAT Calculation & Submission to HMRC including attendance at HMRC inspections - PAYE/ NIC/ CIS Calculations, Reporting, Filing and Annual Returns to HMRC including attendance at HMRC inspections - Legal/ Statistical Returns to ONS etc... - Submissions, communications and attendances relating to annual audits - Fixed Asset ...accounting including capital allowances claims, depreciation and Fixed Asset Policies - Bank Reconciliations for multiple accounts, credit cards, cash accounts... and loans - Supplier/ Customer accounting, reconciliations, payments and chase procedures - Bank receipts and payments - Nominal account and control account balancing and reconciliations - Charity-specific bookkeeping in line with the relevant charities SORP including correct presentation in accounts - Property-specific accounting regarding Wear & Tear and capital gains calculations - Project Accounting - including allocation of costs and income to projects for full project appraisals - General Housekeeping Other duties are: - Job costing for construction including estimates and profit reconciliation (includes pricing from plan) - Marketing to include websites, portfolio preparation, mailing and flyer works - Attendance and preparation for sales presentations across a range of industries - Health & Safety; policy, risk assessments and implementation in the building, hospitality and transport segments I hope to hear from you soon!
